The event begun with B2B talks between Polish food producers/exporters and Chinese importers/distributors. The Polish side was represented by 25 companies whose representatives carried on negotiations with more than 150 potential business partners. Polish companies were promoting meat products, sweets, juices, beverages, frozen fruits, vegetables and alcohol. The Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Beijing was in charge for the whole organization of business talks.
After the B2B talks, 30 reporters representing Chinese media took part in a press conference, which was orgnised under "Taste of Europe. Quality and Tradition’’ promotion campaign. Andrzej Arendarski, the President of the Polish Chamber of Commerce made a speech at the conference.
After that the guests were invited to a banquet where they had an opportunity to taste traditional Polish dishes served by four Polish chefs. Chargé d’Affaires Mr Piotr delivered a welcome speech.
Polish-Chinese Business Day was organised before Anufood China - the largest imported food trade fair in the Northern China. Six companies took part at the stand prepared by Polish Agricultural Market Agency. Two other companies exhibited independently.
